MIMIX Baits started with a simple obsession:
Design and produce weapons made for hunters who chase the biggest, meanest fish in the ocean.
Anyone who knows big-game lures knows Australia sets the standard. Their stickbaits are ruthless, proven on GTs, tuna, dogtooth, and every power-crazed predator that wants to rip a lure in half. The goal was to create a completely original design with inspiration from our brothers down under. Anyone can copy a lure. It really is not that hard. However when designing these lures we believed there was such a thing as a “perfect profile”
What we have produced in our eyes is that perfect bait profile. And it’s 100% ours. We highly anticipate others to replicate it however this is where it was born. Once the lures were designed we needed to bring them to life.
So we got to work.
Why Resin? Because wood wasn’t enough.
Wood is beautiful, sure. But it swells, it warps, it cracks, and every piece acts a little different. That wasn’t good enough for us.
We wanted consistency, strength, balance, and repeatable perfection — the kind you need when you’re casting at tuna big enough to snap rods or marlin that hit so hard they rearrange hardware.
So we went with precision-poured resin — tuned density, predictablility, bulletproof durability, and the ability to shape and weight our baits with surgical accuracy. Every single lure swims the way it’s meant to. No surprises. No “bad batch.” No excuses.

If a lure doesn’t move right, it’s useless. Our baits had to swim better than anything else on the rail. They needed to MIMIX Bait.
